Artificial intelligence and machine learning for professionals, data analytics, cybersecurity (building on the Chesapeake Cyber Institute certificate and boot-camp designs from the 2022 catalog), cloud and enterprise architecture.
Financial technology & innovation
FinTech payments foundations and solution development (building on the Talari Group track), digital banking, entrepreneurship and innovation management.

Public administration, regulatory leadership, monitoring and evaluation, higher-education leadership and quality assurance.
Education & pedagogy
Train-the-trainer, instructional design, online teaching, and faculty development delivered jointly with CIIS.
Online, on campus, and at regional hubs
Programs are delivered online (synchronous and asynchronous), face-to-face at Morgan and at regional hubs, and in hybrid formats that pair a one-week intensive with online follow-on.
Program development and most delivery are contracted to FUSE-IPS; the technology backbone is EduSuite360; certificates are issued through CCPS; and Morgan faculty are prepared to teach globally through the CIIS partnership.
Operating model
Morgan-GLII operates as a lean coordinating unit inside the Division of International Affairs. It owns the brand, quality standards, partner relationships, pricing, and the learner promise. It does not build a large in-house teaching or technology staff; it contracts development, delivery and platform services to partners under performance-based agreements and retains oversight through the Quality and Accreditation Committee described in the charter.

The institute does not confer academic credit or degrees; credit recognition remains with Morgan's academic units.
What every certificate guarantees
Certificates bearing the Morgan State University brand are approved, issued, recorded and verified by the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies (CCPS) for learners worldwide.
Approved first
No program is advertised as leading to a Morgan certificate until CCPS has reviewed its dossier — syllabus, outcomes, contact hours, assessment plan, instructor CVs and delivery plan.
Clearly stated
Each certificate states the learner's name, program title, contact hours, completion date, and CEU/PDH where assigned, and carries the Morgan State University and CCPS marks with the Morgan-GLII mark.
Earned
Minimum completion threshold: attendance of at least [TO CONFIRM: 80]% of contact hours and a passing assessment result.
Verifiable
Issued digitally with a unique verification number; printed certificates available on request. CCPS keeps the register for at least [TO CONFIRM: 7] years and verifies certificates for employers and institutions.
